π― Why learn it
Latin is not learnt to be spoken; it is learnt to understand. It explains English spelling, unlocks law and medicine, trains the mind in exact reasoning, and gives you a key to four living languages at once. Every scientific name β Homo sapiens, Mangifera indica β is Latin.
π± How this course teaches
An organic Latin course does not begin with declension tables. It begins with sentences you can already half-read because English borrowed them, then shows you the machine underneath: a language where the ending of a word tells you its job, so word order is free. You will translate real sentences from lesson one.
π The sounds to get right first
