Spirograph
Make a spirograph: one shape drawn over and over, turned a little each time. Tiny changes to the turn give completely different patterns, so keep a note of the pairs of numbers that look best.
🌈 Ideas to take it further
- Try 36 outer repeats with right 10, or 24 with right 15.
- Use a variable so the inner shape grows with every round.
- Change the inner shape to a triangle or a nine-sided polygon.
- Layer two spirographs in two colours.
- Add colour rainbow and watch the colour drift around the pattern.
